Julian Hunt joins KAUST Climate Science team

The CLI is pleased to announce the arrival of KAUST's newest Research Scientist: Julian Hunt. Hunt will be joining KAUST in March 2023 and will have an academic home within the Prof. Yoshihide Wada’s team. He brings with him experience in hydropower, water management and energy storage.  He is also an expert on the impact of land and water management, climate geoengineering and mitigation to climate change. 

At KAUST, he will be working in Prof. Wada’s team and will specifically focus on providing sustainable cooling systems in desert agriculture.  

Hunt joins KAUST from the International Institute for Applied systems Analysis (IIASA), where he was previously employed as a Research Scholar.
