The CLI is pleased to announce the arrival of KAUST's newest Postdoctoral fellow: Ansir Ilyas.  Ilyas will be joining KAUST in Feb 2023 and will have an academic home within the Prof. Yoshihide Wada’s team. He brings with him experience in integrating local behavioral feedback into large scale models for natural resource conservations, as well as dynamic socio-hydrological modelling of irrigation efficiency.   

At KAUST, he will be working in Prof. Wada’s team and will be conducting research with the focus on integrating water-food-energy nexus dynamic modeling with biodiversity and economical systems to produce more sustainable conservation, while at the same time contributing towards more robust policy mechanisms.   

Ilysa joins KAUST from the International Water Management Institution, where he previously held the position Researcher in Water Resource Management in Pakistan.
